I just wanted to share a detailed description of one of the most mysterious and interesting levels from the "Sonic 3 & Sonic & Knuckles" games. The level, known as "Hidden Palace Zone," can be accessed by performing a specific combination of actions in the game.
Upon playing the level, you'll notice that everything seems a bit off, with distorted colors, checkered floors, and corrupted music. It's believed that the developers were having fun with the game's code and creating a sort of "weirdness" area.
There's also a fascinating theory that the boss of the level is actually Sonic himself. The character is a strange blue color and has a similar shape to Sonic.
